Happy birthday!

Xuan is excited. I am going to Qiqi meimei's house this Sunday to celebrate her 1 year old birthday! Mummy said there will be cake and balloons! I remember that QiQi meimei was only a 3 months old baby when she came to my 1 year old birthday party last year.


QiQi meimei, let Xuan jiejie make a tall towering cake specially for you!


Oh completed! Do you like the strawberry cake? Oh by the way, Xuan is exactly 21 months old today! Let me sing a birthday song for meimei and myself! "happy birthday to Xuan and meimei.. happy birthday to us..."

Xuan's 2 years old birthday is coming soon! Mummy and papa are scatching their heads now for interesting celebration ideas for me.. stay tune here to find out more ya. :)

The little girl nature in Xuan

The little girl's nature in Xuan has became more and more obvious recently with the following noted little actions:

1) Likes to look in the mirror after wearing a new dress, putting on a new hair pin.
2) Likes shopping.
3) Likes to carry bags, be it handbag, luggage bag, hand-carry bag.
4) Likes to wear mummy's shoes.
5) Likes to play kitchen ware toys.
6) Likes to dance with both hands above the head like ballerina.
7) Likes to hug and kiss mummy and papa!

Xuan's progression in class

Xuan is settling down well at my weekly class at JG and Xuan enjoys the story telling, art and craft session, music and dance and of course the snack time the most!

Yesterday, Xuan learned the alphabet "S" and mummy and papa are surprised that Xuan repeated "S" many times last night although Xuan was busy walking around the class now and then (hehehe...) while the class is going on.

Achievement at 21 months old

Xuan's words bank has exceeded the BIG 100! And it is increasing everyday.
Pear, apple, rice, egg, duck, bed, door, close....nice, please (yesterday latest additions!)

Mummy and papa are elated with Xuan's achievement at my tender 21 months old. There may be many other little friends who may have achieved more but mummy and papa is just so proud and happy with their little Xuan's achievement! Love Xuan the most!

Colouring session

Xuan has these amazing colouring pens! Tell you why. The ink only appears when i colour on this special picture book that comes with it!

Mummy is happy with such invention cos it allows Xuan to practise holding a pen correctly and colour without creating a mess on Xuan's hands, shirt, table, chair, sofa and wall! Mummy bought them without hesitation when she saw it one fine day during lunch time shopping. :D

Oh ya this is my new writing table bought from Ikea.



See this colourful plate of fishes! It is actually a fish puzzle bought for Xuan to learn how to recognise colours and words by matching the correct fish body to the head. The word is hidden underneath the fish body! By the end of the 1st week, Xuan is able to correctly match the correct colour fish body to the head! Hug Hug Xuan!

Xuan is going to be jiejie

I am going to be a jiejie very soon.
Mummy and papa told Xuan that I am going to have a didi. :)
Xuan is happy! Very soon I have a didi to play with..all my toys to share with,, (mummy and papa hope so!) hehehe..

Mummy and papa said that Xuan has guessed correctly months ago when they asked Xuan whether it is going to be a didi or meimei. And Auntie Dr Thong has confirmed that Xuan's guess recently and I am really going to have a didi! :D

Xuan can see that mummy's tummy growing bigger by days. Mummy put Xuan's hand on tummy and said that didi is inside! Really??! Xuan don't quite understand why. Xuan is more interested in tickling mummy's bellybutton! Mummy and papa laughed.. how mischievous and innocent.. mummy said!

Xuan is recovering

Xuan was down with fever, bad cough and running nose last week. Mummy and papa got a big shock in the middle of the night when they discovered Xuan felt so hot.

"papa, hot hot." That really made papa woke up from his sweet dream. Oh 38.6degree!

For the next few days, the fever come and go.. 37.2, 38.5 37.8. 39.5!.

Dear mummy and papa could not have good rest for the coming days and nights as they woke up periodically to check on Xuan. While mummy and papa went to work, ah ma was busy taking care of little Xuan, making sure that Xuan don't catch a cold again.

This week, mummy is down with a bad cough, running nose and headache while ah ma is down with a flu. They may have gotten the virus from little Xuan.. oh no.. sorrie..

Mummy and ah ma, take good care and we recover together very very soon ok.
