A pig face?

Xuan has been enjoying drawing and painting. Xuan particularly likes to draw a lot of different faces.

Xuan drew this comical face yesterday afternoon.

Mummy: Wow.. Xuan, you drew this face? Well done!
(Xuan nodding and laughing away)
Papa: What face is that?
Xuan: humm... Pig face! hahaha...

Surprises!

Last Friday evening, Xuan has 2 nice surprises from dear mummy and papa.

SURPRISE number 1
An Apron from mummy! For cooking?! Hahaha.. it is for Xuan to put on during painting time! Hooray!

Do you remember that Xuan has started to paint about 2 months ago? I have a lot of paintings in my bag and do you recall that I have even made a party hat with one of my paintings with the help of mummy?

However, I have not been painting for the past 1 week. The reason being Xuan has dirtied a few of my tops. Mummy has been looking for a kid’s apron for painting but could not find it. Toyrus, popular.. none of them carry it in their stock. Mummy wanted Xuan to wear her old tee when painting (recommended by some mummies in their blog) but Xuan didn’t want to. The tee is simply too big, mummy!

SURPRISE number 2
Papa came back with big bag and a wooden structure. With it all wrapped up, Xuan thought that I am going to have a new bed again!? Hahaha..

No… it is a painting board stand! I love it! I am very excited.

Papa exclaimed that he has been looking for one and been wanting to buy one for me! Now Xuan can choose to either sit or stand when I want to paint! The board has 2 sides and mummy said that didi and I can draw and paint together next time. Hooray!!

Monday's blues

Today is Monday. Mummy and papa are back to work. This morning, Xuan cried again when mummy got changed for work. I am sad. I want mummy.

Mummy promised me Mickey Mouse and Hello Kitty stickers today when she comes back from work.

I got my sunshade! Hooray!

Do you remember that Xuan just bought a pair of new shade! Xuan has been asking mummy for a pair of shade for the past 1 week and so when we chanced upon it at Kiddy Palace last weekend, mummy bought the sunglass for me without hesitation! The sunglass came in a pair of pink and blue. Just right for me and my cute didi!

Xuan met Thomas The Train!

Xuan met Thomas, the train last weekend at Marina Square! It was a fun and adventurous afternoon at Marina Square.

There was a "Thomas The Train carnival" at Marina Square over the weekend. Every little kid like me can go for a ride with Thomas, with a pass that can be exchanged with a minimum spending of $30 at the shopping mall. Xuan is excited! Xuan headed for the nearby Kiddy Palace for a quick shopping with mummy, papa and didi in the stroller. After about 30 minutes combing through the whole Kiddy Palace, Xuan emerged with a hand-held Barney-in-bus Hi-Fi and a pair of sunglass and of course with my minimum $30 receipt! hahaha...

There was a long queue at the customer service counter. I wonder if everyone was there to exchange for the Thomas, the train free ride pass. Anyway, Xuan waited patiently with papa for our pass while mummy started queuing at the Train Station. hehehe... all effort just for Xuan!

We managed to call Qiqi meimei who was also at Marina Square to join us for the ride! See Xuan and Qiqi meimei with da jiujiu!

We went for dinner after the ride but were soon back to the atrium to watch the Thomas, the train show. There were a lot of aunties, uncles and little children like me everywhere! Luckily, I have a tall papa who can carry me high. I have a unblocked good view even Xuan wasn't really near the stage. hehehe... In the meanwhile, mummy went walking around with didi. In just 15 minutes times, mummy came back with a Mickey Mouse tee for Xuan! hahaha...

By the way, Xuan has been watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse DVD recently and I love it!

Xuan is a happy girl. I have a fun Saturday afternoon!

Mummy is now planning for next weekend activities... Marina Barrage, Zoo, Jacob Ballard, shopping malls with cantoon characters show...Hummm...

Joyous month of May

May is a joyous month for Xuan!

We just had 2 celebrations in the last month of May! We celebrated papa’s birthday and mummy and papa’s wedding anniversary. Mummy and papa said that their 4th year wedding anniversary celebration is made even more significant with me and didi!

We had birthday cake, birthday song, blow candle, presents, family dinner and of course not forgetting taking pictures to mark the joyous days in our photo album.

Xuan helped papa to cut cake!

Do you see didi in papa’s arm? Didi was hungry and wanted milk just when we were about to sing birthday song. And when we wanted to cut cake, didi fell asleep. Ai yo… didi.

Xuan enjoys my speech and drama class!

Xuan is going to complete my 1st semester of Lorna Whiston Speech and Drama class. Xuan enjoys attending the class! Xuan gets to sing and dance every saturday. :) Beside learning an alphabet and the phonic, there are story telling, colouring, letter tracing etc. Xuan enjoys acting through the short skit with teacher and my friends most! We will take the "Drama Train" and go the farm to look for Mrs MacDonald, go to the sea and help Olive octopus look for Jerry Jellyfish.... It is fun!

Mummy just received the 1st semester performance review from the school. Teacher Ellie commented that Xuan is a lovely girl with a gentle nature! hahaha...Mummy told papa that it is indeed very true that Xuan is very sweet and gentle in the class but there is another side of Xuan that teacher Eillie has yet to see. :p Teacher Ellie also commented that Xuan has adapted well into the routine of the class and would join in all activities with euthusiasm. However, Xuan is still a little more reserved and shy at times and hopefully as the class progresses, Xuan will display more confidence. :)
