Xuan had 2 reunion dinners on Chinese New Year eve. One in the west in the noon (with paternal grandparents) and one in the east in the evening (with maternal grandparents)! hahaha..

As Xuan has not crossed the 1 month mark of chicken pox recovery stage, mummy and papa prohibited me from eating anything associated with seafoods and of course most importantly absolutely no dark soya sauce cos there is still some marks on my face. And for this reason, everyone waited for mummy to cook my fish, meat, fishballs, meatball.... before any prawns, sotongs can be added to the steamboat.. hehehe...

Xuan stayed up past midnight on the eve of the chinese new year. I was happily taking shots of the house with my beloved Sony Cybershot while following mummy and papa around the house, doing the last cleaning up for new year. :)

Chinese New Year celebrations in school

So fast... today is already 6th day of the lunar Chinese New Year. No more holiday and Xuan is back to school.

Remember that Xuan has a mini sing and dance performance in school as part of Chinese New Year celebration? hehe.. Mummy, papa and didi were in school to support me on last friday morning buuuttt Xuan was probably too excited to see my family that for a while, I refused to join my friends in the dance. I only want to stay close to mummy and papa. However, i did eventually join my friends in the dance after a while albiet a bit reluntantly.. hehehe..

Mummy thought that Xuan may most probably be hungry and tired in the late morning and that could explain my sticky chewy behaviour. Moreover, Xuan has performed once earlier in the morning for another group of parents. Nevertheless, good try!

My 1st photobook

Xuan is delighted to share my 1st photobook here! :D
My 2008 studio shots in this beautiful and memorable photobook. These shots were taken when I was 2 years old. Mummy said that this is a long outstanding project and mummy is glad of its completion before the end of 2009. This photobook is memorable. It captures Xuan @ cheeky 2 years old while didi is in mummy's tummy.

Thanks to mummy for the few sleepless nights, dark circles.. and of course thanks to papa for the ideas contributed too. :D Mummy and papa believe that this book will accompany Xuan as I grow up to share till I grow old.

Bye Bye chicky Pox

Xuan is well and has been certified to be well by Dr Toh to go back school 1 week ago. :)

Xuan is elated. Xuan misses school and is delighted to go back school to meet my friends and teachers. Fortunately, Xuan has recovered in time for Chinese New Year celebration! There is going to be a celebration in school on 12 February, follow by a meet parent session and all mummies and papa are invited. And of course my didi Kai Kai! Xuan has decided to wear my cheongsam that day! :D

As part of Chinese New Year celebration, Xuan has learnt to sing Chinese New Year songs in school! Xuan has also been making lanterns from hongbaos. Xuan has my 1st experience in Chinese calligraphy last week in my fine arts class too. :D

How exciting and happy to go back school! :D

Xuan is so sad! I must drink more water and rest more. Dr Toh says Xuan has caught chicken pox...

Xuan will be brave and strong. I will be back soon in full health!
