Xuan is 3 years and 5 months old today!

Xuan in one of the recent new excursion trip. :) Xuan likes to sit on long coach!

Looking for model? :)

Fair Price came with the delivery. Xuan and Kai were so excited with the numerous tins of milks delivered at the door steps.

Papa and mummy took the chance just in time to catch these very cute and happy moments!

Does anyone knows if Abbott is looking for any child model?

Both Xuan and Kai are milk lovers and mummy and papa have to stock up milk powder very often. hehehe...

I am a Chinese gal

Xuan is very proud that she is a Chinese gal.. u know! :p

Xuan has started her Chinese enrichment class at Berries ()recently and last Saturday was the 2nd lesson. Mummy and papa are glad that Xuan likes and enjoys the class very much. :D

Last week, when we reached the centre, Xuan headed for the classroom euthusiastically and didn't even want to go to the toilet with mummy before her class. Xuan told mummy that she will tell the teacher when she needs to go later. :)

Xuan: mummy, am i going to berries tomorrow?
Mummy: humm.. no.. tomorrow is not saturday. We only go berries on Saturday.
Xuan: but mummy, can we go again tomorrow. I want to go! I like berries mummy!
Mummy: Ok Ok.. we go on Saturday alrght. tomorrow, Xuan will go to school. :)
Xuan: humm.. we go to school then after that we go berries can?

Mummy is amazed and shocked with the current syllabus that N2 is being taught. Now Xuan learns 成语 every fortnight. Every week, Xuan learns new words, learns to write simple 笔画 to complete a word, learns to read sentences, learns new songs and listen to story telling.

Mummy and papa's inital worries on whether Xuan will be receptive of the new class and whether Xuan will be tired attending 2 classes on saturday are unfounded now. :D

Everywhere everyone is commenting on how difficult is primary 1 Chinese syllabus getting now. How little girls and little boys like Xuan needs to know Hanyu Pinyin by K2 etc. Mummy and papa feel that something is very wrong with our Singapore education system nowsaday. So demanding on young children as young as 7 years old. So mummy has no choice but hopes that Xuan will be gradually well prepared for P1 by laying good foundation and hopefully reduced the stress when Xuan goes P1 .

Xuan sings

One of the Japanese nursery songs that Xuan learns in school. :D

Xuan's creative breakfast

All of us saw Xuan's mini Hello Kitty Sandwiches 3 weeks ago.

Over the weeks, mummy has prepared various interesting bento breakfast box for Xuan. There is big heart sandwich with mini hearts blowing around. There are starry starry sandwiches. There are beary beary sandwiches. Mini aeroplanes soaring around my lunch box. Nice swissroll with mini quail eggs. There is hard boiled egg with mini heart-shaped ham hugging all around.... :D

This is Xuan's personalised heart-shape wholemeal sandwiches with twinkle twinkle little stars hovering around me!

Mummy has bought some cute fancyful cutters over the weeks. Every morning, mummy will spare a little time (while rushing to work) to prepare some lovely sandwiches to make my breakfast more wholesome, more interesting and more appetising! Xuan told mummy that her classmates are also starting to bring their breakfast to school, in addition to the fruit break provided in school.. hahaha... :p

Mummy does not think that she has done a very good and creative job compared to many creative mummies out there but it definitely comes with lots of efforts and love! Good job for a beginner bah.. :p

Ah gong and ah ma wedding anniversary dinner

Yesterday, we went for family dinner in celebration of ah gong and ah ma's wedding anniversary. :)

Xuan is happy and so is didi KaiKai. The busiest people throughout the dinner were none other than mummy and papa who had to keep attending to me, making sure that I eat well and of course feeding didi KaiKai and constantly picking up things (spoon, bowl, tissue...) that he dropped or threw onto the ground.. :p

Happy Didi enjoying the dinner.

Lovely jiejie and dear didi!

Look here didi!

A snapshot of everyone after the dinner.
Mummy really misses ah zuo's image when looking at this family photo.
