Everyday, Xuan will come home with some free drawings or writing from school. They are allowed to do free drawings or writing when they have finished their class work.

I need someone..

With didi attending enrichment class on every Sunday morning this year, Xuan now has the opportunity to go one-to-one shopping and breakfast with mommy and papa!

Last sunday, after dropping didi at his class, we walked over to Plaza Singapura for Mac breakfast, followed by shoes hunting for our darling Xuan. As we walked back to the building where didi is, Xuan mumbled,"

"My legs are tired. The weather is so hot."
Mummy asked,"ok we walk slower and anyway we are reaching."
"I need something."
Mummy: humm.. I think you need a pair of roller blades? A pair of wings to fly? Wheels on your feet? Stroller?...."
"haha... no no.. I need someone."


Ha... see.... Who is that someone? Papa!! At coming to 6 years old, Xuan still enjoys being carried at times. When being teased that we have a big baby(!!), she retorted that "I am NOT... I am going to be 6!"

Sentosa Boardwalk

After a full dinner at Vivo, we went for a nice evening walk along the Sentosa Boardwalk. We enjoyed the walk and will certainly be back again. :)

Favourite series at the moment

These are Xuan favourite series of Princess storybooks at the moment.

Mommy bought 1 of the titles couple of months ago at Kinokuniya for Xuan. Xuan likes the story and requested mommy to get the complete series but mommy hasn't got a chance to get it since then. We are very happy when we saw this series featured in the Scholastic book order list from Xuan's school last month and yes, we ordered the whole series conveniently and at a discounted price too!

It is categorised under the intermediate level by Scholastic with about 70 pages per title and is recommended for readers for age 7/8 and above. It has interesting story line that most girls will like. :)

To date, Xuan has completed reading 2 titles, Orange Princess has a ball and Yellow Princess has a Pet. Now Xuan is at the pink princess.

Ah Gong & US

Ah gong has not been to our house for a while.



We were very happy to see ah gong to our house couple of weeks ago! Ah gong is also very happy to be here again well and happy! :D

Fun @ playground

If only we can have more of such mornings..


Xuan and didi had so much fun. As it was a weekday morning, there was no crowd and we had the whole playground to ourselves. ;D


Didi certainly loves playground a lot! We had so much fun and our laughters fill the air!

Last friday, Xuan was unwell and could not join didi in school. Xuan asked to go downstair for a walk after mummy fetched didi to school. As Xuan strolled and hop around, she lamented, "If only Kai is here with me, we will have fun running and chasing together." ~~~ Sibling bonds~~~~~ Very heartening to hear! A very precious thought.

When Kai was back from school, he asked jiejie when he was at the door, "Jiejie! Are you better?" ~~~ Wonderful didi!

A night-out

Last week, we went for a night-out at the nearby Robertson Quay. We strolled around the river bank, saw the drinking crowds, admired the beautiful pricy apartments there (and dream of buying a unit.. ;p) before we found a quiet caferia at a corner just nice for 4 of us. ;D
