Fun at ECP on National Day

On National Day, we went for a picnic at East Coast Parkway with our cousins, Qi and Yu! We had lots of fun and would definitely make another date for more fun again!

Bubbling good time

Xuan likes blowing bubbles to the max.

She was delighted when her berries teacher gave her a bottle of bubbles and She can't wait to blow the bubbles immediately after class while we waited for papa to come and fetch us.

Fast growing

Our darling Ning Xuan is going to be 6 in another 2 more months. In another less than 4 months, she will be primary 1!

She is growing up so fast that mommy and papa really wish we can hold the clock from ticking so fast.

Xuan knows that she is going primary 1 very soon and she is looking forward to it with much anticipation. We talk about how she would be in a big school with lot more friends in a class. How she would need to queue up in a canteen to buy her own food during recess time. How she would need to listen and pay attention in class cos there is only 1 teacher to 30 children..... So far, we think Xuan should be able to cope. She has learnt how to read time, basic money handling. She is able to order food by herself. She can eat reasonably fast. In term of academic preparation, we are glad that Xuan's preschool has done a reasonably good job.

Yesterday, mommy decided to guide and show Xuan how to shower on her own. Xuan should be able to handle very soon. In fact, Xuan just told mommy that she can shower on her own tomorrow. Actually, mommy don't find it a hassle and see it as a bonding time cos we chat and talk about the day in the shower room. However, mommy would still need to teach Xuan this basic skill at this age.

Tell you, the problem lies in mommy. Mommy can't bear to let go.

Scooter~ing Fun

We finally bought our scooters!

Mommy and papa decided to get scooters for us since we decided that we should be visiting Nature Parks for walk quite often and since bicycles are too bulky for our car boots, scooters seem to be the best option. :)

Xuan got a 2-wheelers while mommy and papa decided to get a 3-wheelers for didi. Xuan and didi had great time over the past few weekends at the Pavilion near our house, trying out and riding the scooters. Both Xuan and didi are so much steady and confident now. :D

Walk at nature parks

Papa drove us to nature parks for nice afternoon walk last month. Xuan and didi enjoyed ourselves and we look forward to more of such walk! Mommy said that it is so much more relaxing and definitely healthier than walking around shopping malls. :)
