Ballerina wish comes true
Xuan got her ballerina wish fulfilled in April. Mommy found a suitable timing and logistically convenient ballet class and decided to sign up the class for Xuan since she loves to dance and been yearning to attend ballet class. We hope that the ballet class will be a de-stress class for Xuan on every Saturday morning after 5 days of school.

Favourite food
Let's talk about favourite food cos Xuan just had a show and tell this Monday on the topic, "My favourite food".
Xuan has a few favourite food that she always asks for such as Japanese food, pasta,.... and of ice cream!
Xuan decided to talk about ice-cream for show and tell. And papa is tasked again to come up with a draft script for Xuan's "approval". Why approval? Well, sometimes, little princess Xuan has comments on certain words, on how it is being phrased.... haha! And since she is the one going to deliver it, we have to accept her suggestions/opinions/feedback to be fair. And honestly, we are glad that she has her own opinion too. :D
This round, Xuan suggested beginning her show and tell by posing a question to her classmates. :D
The approved script goes like this:
I am going to tell you about my favourite food today.

Do you all want to guess?
I can give you a hint.
It is cold. It has many different flavour.
You can get it from Swenson too!
Yes, It is ice-cream OR (depending on her classmates' response)
Let me tell you. It is ice-cream!
I am in love in ice-cream, ICE CREAM!
Red red strawberry ice-cream! Yummm!!
Orange coloured with chocolate syrup
SWEETNESS!
Yellow bananas
Green apples! WOW
Blueberries very sweet and sour too
Purple violet yam taste!
All colours of the rainbow!!
In our HOT HOT country, I love my ice-cream TREAT! Hoorray!!
This is our rainbow ice-cream prop for the show and tell!
See our toothless Xuan?! haha... a phase every growing child goes through. Fortunately, Xuan is never too bothered with the toothless look. She is taking it very well. With every sayonara to her baby teeth, she looks forward eagerly to her new adult teeth. :D
Everyone in the family participated in the preparation of Show and Tell. Papa painted the rainbow. Xuan and mommy drew and coloured the ice-creams. During the rehearsal, Xuan has 3 audiences cum judges, namely, papa, mommy and of course Kai didi! :D

Bread cutting
When mommy took out her box of bread cutters, both Xuan and didi's faces brighten up!
We love bread cutting!
Xuan cut a lot of heart shaped, hello kitty, and aphabets bread and cheese.
Kai cut a lot of aphabets cheese and breads.
They ate the lovely cut-out breads and cheese and mommy took care of the remaining crumbs and bit pieces. hahaha..
Look at how serious they were.. taking lots of care and attention to their creation.
