Celebrating papa's birthday!

We had a simple but heart warming and happy celebration for papa who gained another year of wisdom in May.

We wish papa best health, lots of happiness and smooth sailing career with lots of prosperity!

Rainbow looming craze

Made for mommy ~ specially from Xuan

Yes, is the loom band craze.
Xuan asked for her 1st pack in May and the craze is still there.
Every now and then, she just enjoys looming and creating so many bracelets and rings of different patterns and colours.

Swimming

Finally we get it started! Hahaha..

Weeks of scouting for good coach and good timing, we finally started our swimming lesson in Mid May 2014! Xuan and Kai had started slow but making steady progress. Fortunately, we have found a patient coach who has his way with the children. To the older Xuan, he encourages her and gives her some push. For the younger Kai, he uses the singing song method to get him warm up in the water.

After about 3.5 months, Xuan is currently starting to let go of surf board. She is currently learning the frog kick and is going to learn breast stroke 1st. Kai who used to be more advanced in picking up the underwater skill, gliding skill has recently taken a step back. He displayed some reluntance and drop in confidence. We hope didi will jia you!

Car wash ~ a family affair

It is a family affair ~ washing our "Xiao Hong". Hahaha... not forgetting fun scootering while papa busily polishing making sure "Xiao Hong" is clean and shiny! :D

Our little bookworm

2 Degree Ice

Our trip to 2 Degree Ice..

**cold cold** for Xuan and Kai. Both were numbed and rooted to the ground at certain session. But it was soon forgotten once they saw the icy slopes.

On our way happily to Marina Bay

Getting ourselves well wrapped up before entering the cold chamber.. haha

Didi looks so cute!

June holiday programme at SMA

Xuan together with didi and Qi meimei had an enjoyable time at the holiday programme at Singapore Media Academy during the June holiday.

Xuan was initially not very keen upon hearing that it is a chinese programme. However, by the end of the programme, she kept asking mommy whether she can return to join the weekly drama class! The programme looks fun and engaging and the teachers speak very fluent accurate mandarin. It is definitely a good learning experience for the duo.

Didi kai joined the 3 half days english drama class instead as he is below 7 years old. Didi enjoyed himself too and did a good job when the children put up a performance at the 3rd day. :)
