June holiday programme at SMA

Xuan together with didi and Qi meimei had an enjoyable time at the holiday programme at Singapore Media Academy during the June holiday.

Xuan was initially not very keen upon hearing that it is a chinese programme. However, by the end of the programme, she kept asking mommy whether she can return to join the weekly drama class! The programme looks fun and engaging and the teachers speak very fluent accurate mandarin. It is definitely a good learning experience for the duo.

Didi kai joined the 3 half days english drama class instead as he is below 7 years old. Didi enjoyed himself too and did a good job when the children put up a performance at the 3rd day. :)

June Holiday Week 3 Fun: Off to Haw Park Villa

On the 3rd weekend, we went to Haw Par Villa. It was a hot and humid morning and the children were complaining of "hot and hot". They didn't enjoy as much as the trip to the zoo and beach but it was a good chance for them to see the "after life events" for the good guy and bad guy during their time on earth.

It is a pity that the place was not properly upkeep. Little improvement and no innovative ideas were put into place to improvise the place. We hope that this place will be given a new lease of life soon!

Been quiet

It has been quiet here where our last post is in May.

We have been busy and time pass in a blink.

So much to update and don't know where to begin....

The initiative of asking Xuan to update her blog has only manage to create a spark that doesn't last long.. hahaha..

We hope that we can get Xuan back onboard soon!

Welcome Xuan onboard to blogging!

Finally, our dear Xuan is coming onboard to blog on her own growing up stories!

This move came so much earlier and unplanned. Mommy has always thought this will be a little corner for us to pen Xuan's growing up little stories. However, one fine day last week, an idea sprang to mommy's bubbles of thought. Hey, why are we not inviting Xuan to pen her own growing up thoughts since we are encouraging her to write something weekly as part of creative writing exercise. And yes, this is so much more motivating and exciting!

Xuan officially pen down her 1st blog post on 24 May 2014 on her 1st play date to her classmate's house.

Dear Xuan, we are so proud of you and we are excited and looking forward to read your interesting stories every week! :D

A Day at Wan Kee's house

Today after school, I went to my best friend Wan Kee'S house.Once I got there, Wan Kee's mom treated both of us to cupcakes, jelly and milo. After that, we did our school Chinese homework together at the dining table. After we finshed, Wan Kee invited me to her bedroom upstair to play ipad. At around 5 o' clock, mum came and guess what she let me stay until 6.15pm. Before I left, Wan Kee and her mom gave me a huge pack of .................... seaweed. However, I chose to bring home to share with my dear brother! :)
