Thanks for all concerns and dear Kai didi is on the path to recovery.
We are glad. We have moved on. We have managed to settle down with lesser paranoid. We have managed to have lighter mood now. We have learnt a lesson.
Didi had his stitches removed last Monday. We are thankful of the good healing. Our utmost important task now is taking good care of the scar for good recovery. Cleaning, consistent moisturising, no rubbing, no pulling of the area. And very importantly, good nutritious meal with lots of fish, greens and fruits for good healing.
Home (and everywhere) safety education is so important.

We are all sad and heartache
Last Sunday, our dearest Kai didi had a very bad fall at home.
Kai had a deep big cut on his forehead and needed numerous stitches. The open wound. The blood stained shirt. The fright. The cries. We just want to stop thinking about it and concentrate in taking good care of Kai didi.
Recounting back the incident only bring pain and tears to mummy and papa. The heartache. The heartpain. The ultimate sadness.
May Buddha, 观音普萨 and all great deity bless and protect our dear didi and (of course our dear Xuan), keep them safe and well, away from all harm and bad luck from now onwards.

Weekend at home
2 weekends ago, Xuan, didi and mummy were "stuck" at home. hehe.. cos our papa had some work assignment over the weekend. So after we reached home from Xuan's chinese enrichment class in early Saturday noon, we start our 3 people activites.
The day before, mummy went to supermarket to stock up food so that she could whip some home cooked dishes for all of us. We had reading time, playing time, drama time where we play doctor-patient, chef-customer, dentist-patient (hahaha.. my favourite!), or simply lazing around and watch television programme...
Our first activity - pasting and drawing. Kai likes to use stencil to draw circle now.

Favourite day of the week
Xuan used to like Monday since school reopen cos she has pianica （口风琴）lesson every monday in school from this year. However, recently, she changed her mind.
Mummy: Which is your favourite day of the week?
Xuan: Saturday and Sunday!
Mummy: Oh why? Not monday anymore?
Xuan: No.. I love mummy, papa and KaiKai. We can all be together on Saturday and Sunday! ** How nice to hear that!**

HK Disneyland 2010 (Part II)
On 28 Nov, we took an early afternoon flight and reached HK early evening. Although it was only 5pm+, the sky is already getting quite dark. We took a taxi to Disneyland Hotel and we reached swiftly in less than 15 minutes. By then, the sky was already sp dark and looked as though it was already 9+. There was no queue at the check-in counter. The front desk service staffs are polite and efficient. Seeing that our little Kai didi was getting a bit grouchy and tired, the front desk counter staff was nice and quick to distract him with stickers and while the other staff processed our check-in procedures swiftly. They also helped us to process the collection of our Disneyland annual pass so that we do not need to queue the following day. :D Great impression on the 1st day!
We were happy to check into our room. Neat and sufficiently spacious for a family of 4. The room deco evolve around Disney theme and colours. Simple bathroom but with mickey rinsing paper and plastic cups, mickey shower curtain and Disney room slippers.
Thereafter, it was time to fill up our tummy. We checked out the hotel dining facilities. There is a Mickey Chef restaurant which serves buffet lunch and dinner. But we decided that this should not be suitable for us cos didi may most probably not have the patience to wait for us to enjoy our buffet. Hehee.. hotel lounge is out. And we are left with the last eatery, “Hollywood and dine” which is a self service eatery. Yes, this will be. Not a lot of fancy choices of food but suitable enough for us. They have kid’s set. Drumstick rice set. Soup noodles… small snacks like muffins, puddings, ice-cream, sandwiches, etc…And more crucially, not much waiting time too! Great!
After dinner, we were contended to retreat to rest for the day. Xuan and didi were happy to bath in the big bath tub. In fact, both of us kept finding excuses to go into the bathroom. Haha… didi even told mummy, “poo poo.. wash….” When it is not true.
Being the 1st night, Xuan could not get to sleep. Most probably unfamiliar place. Different bed. Papa stood with Xuan at the window for a while to watch outside hotel xmas lighting and passing vehicles into the hotel while mummy tucked didi to sleep. To our surprise, Xuan said, “I missed home” and began sobbing. Oh dear.. only the 1st night! After some assurance and patting, Xuan still eventually drifted to dreamland. Xuan still continued to ask about home over the next few nights but will eventually be pacified when we told her that we will be going Disneyland, to shop, to eat and we will definitely check whether there is available flight for us to go hm. :p
Over the next few nights, Xuan and didi have their own ideas to keep themselves occupied in the room. Xuan got herself a pen and memo pad, made herself comfortable on an armchair and began writing. She told mummy that she needed to write and will ask mummy on how to spell certain words when she needed to. Didi, on the other hand, find entertaining zooming his toy cars around the bed, chair, getting the diary cover to act as expressway. Other times, both jiejie and didi find fun looking out of windows, hiding in the curtains, eating snacks, watching cartoons, pretending to make calls to friends, ah ma….
