Visit to Dinosaur Live

2 Weekends ago, we went to the "Dinosaur Live" exhibition at Science Centre. Interestingly, Xuan knows more about dinosaurs than mummy. At least, she knows the name of many different types of dinosaurs than mummy...Xuan said that she likes ankylosaurus best cos it has a powerful tail while Kai said that he likes Triceratops best...hahaha... And because we have a book on dinosaurs, Kai also get to know more about dinosaurs and with jiejie's influence, his interest and knowledge on dinosaurs grow too! So we think that this visit will further widen both Xuan and didi's knowledge on dinosaurs.


The settings in the exhibition was good. As it was pretty dim, Xuan backed out at the entrance and almost didn't want to enter especially after hearing the dinosaur roaring sound. Papa hold Xuan tight and with much assurance and courage, she stepped in with much curiosity in her mind.


Xuan overcomes her fear after a 10min walk and she even attempted to lean forward to touch the dinosaur exhibit. All the dinosaurs can move its limbs and heads and make roaring sounds constantly. It feels quite real!


Before the visit, Kai already likes reading dinosaur book over again and again everyday. After the visit, the book is his top favorite now. Now he knows dinosaurs can be tall, long, can have horns, fancy crest, powerful sharp claws .... and he even could remember the names of various dinosaurs in his mind. :)

It was not easy to take good pictures in the hall with the dim lighting and crowds. We are glad that we have a few decent ones though..

Personalised sword balloons

A couple of weeks ago when we were at Toy'rus, we were lucky to bump into a balloon sculptor much to Xuan's delight. Beside getting one for herself, Xuan didn't forget to request for another similar one for didi who has went to the washroom with papa. :) Where is didi??

When we came back home, Xuan asked for a marker and personalised the 2 blank sword into one and only one in the world.
