A trip to nursery

One of the Sunday last month, Papa drove us to 2 nursery farms. Both are big nurseries with indoor and outdoor plants. This is not our first time to nursery farm and so Xuan and didi are very familiar what to expect. This farms that we went to are relatively clean and organised. A nice and healthier alternative to Toy’ rus.

1st stop. Where were mommy and didi? They were in the car as didi was sleeping.

1st time to West Coast Park

2 weekends ago, we went to West Coast Park for a ride. :)

Our initial intention is to rent bicycles and we realised that there is no bicycle rental kisok at WCP. Instead, we spotted a go-kart rental kiosk. We were excited and headed for it. To our surprise, the rental charge is a big silent "WOW" in our heart when we enquired about the rental. Nevertheless, it was difficult to back-out at the moment and we paid $36 for an half an hour ride! We rented a family go-kart where papa and mommy worked hard at peddling while Xuan and didi enjoyed blowing on our face and occasionally rally for faster speed and giving directions. :)

There is a big playgound at WCP, a rather big sand pit areas for children and a big open field for picnic and activities. The WCP is not as big as ECP but it is as nice. We decided that we will be back again with our picnic mats, bicycles, spade and buckets on another fine weekend!

Drink milk

Xuan's love for milk has decreased significantly since last month. From an ultimate milk lover who drinks 240ml for 3-4 times a day is now taking only 180ml 2-3 times a day. We accept the intake frequency should be reduced to 2 or at most 3 times now given that Xuan is coming to 6 years old. However, sometimes, she don't even want to finish the morning intake of 180ml. Lot of coaxing is needed..

2 mornings ago,

mummy: Drinking milk is important. It has calcium that helps you to have stronger bones, stronger teeth and you grow taller.

Xuan: I am already queuing at the last in class and you still want me to grow taller?
(looking at mommy helplessly)

Mommy is laughing in the heart but trying to explain the other important benefits of drinking milk at the same time... opps.. :p


Xuan enjoyed the swing 2 weekends ago. She asked if we can shift to a bigger house and buy this garden swing back home. We told her that to buy this big swing with a shade, we need to buy a bungalow! hahaha..

Creativity with stencils

Everyday, Xuan will come home with some free drawings or writing from school. They are allowed to do free drawings or writing when they have finished their class work.


We thought that it is beautiful. :D

I need someone..

With didi attending enrichment class on every Sunday morning this year, Xuan now has the opportunity to go one-to-one shopping and breakfast with mommy and papa!

Last sunday, after dropping didi at his class, we walked over to Plaza Singapura for Mac breakfast, followed by shoes hunting for our darling Xuan. As we walked back to the building where didi is, Xuan mumbled,"

"My legs are tired. The weather is so hot."
Mummy asked,"ok we walk slower and anyway we are reaching."
"I need something."
Mummy: humm.. I think you need a pair of roller blades? A pair of wings to fly? Wheels on your feet? Stroller?...."
"haha... no no.. I need someone."


Ha... see.... Who is that someone? Papa!! At coming to 6 years old, Xuan still enjoys being carried at times. When being teased that we have a big baby(!!), she retorted that "I am NOT... I am going to be 6!"

Sentosa Boardwalk

After a full dinner at Vivo, we went for a nice evening walk along the Sentosa Boardwalk. We enjoyed the walk and will certainly be back again. :)
