2009 XMAS

Xuan knows that it is already 2010 now and perhaps a bit too late to talk about 2009 Xmas. However, Xuan really hopes to share with everyone my 2009 xmas joys, thoughts and pictures.

Xuan was elated to be at Orchard Road on Christmas Day! Beautiful lighting, santa Claus and Christmas tree (Xuan’s fav!)!

If you recall, it was a rather gloomy day with dark clouds hovering the sky on Christmas Day from early morning. However, by late afternoon, mummy and papa decided that we shall go ahead with our plan since the dark clouds which have been “loitering” around whole day, undecisive whether to pour, were starting to show clearance. But guess what, BIG and HEAVY rain drops came falling on our car when we were at the fringe of Orchard Road. Fortunately, the traffic was manageable and we manage to find a parking lot relatively fast.

Xuan were glad that the rain became lighter gradually and soon the sky was cleared by early evening. After our dinner, we were all ready to step out of the shopping malls into the street, joining the big crowds out there. Mummy and papa were very careful to ensure that they hold me tight. Papa carried me high up as we squeezed through the crowds at times. Xuan was delighted to see the beautiful lighting, flying Santa Claus carriage, and lot of Christmas trees here and there. Mummy and papa were quick to take the chance to stand in the middle of Orchard Road to snap a shot. Afterall, how many times of such opportunity do we get? However, by then, Xuan was a bit tired and refused to take picture despite coaxing.

Xuan enjoyed the walk down busy and beautifully and brightly lit Orchard Road, we happily head for home with cakes and beautiful photos in our hands.
