Missing the school year-end concert

Xuan missed my chance to perform for the school year-end concert this year. :(

Xuan is sad. Mummy is sad. Papa is sad. What a pity. The date of the concert coincided with our holiday trip schedule and we have no choice but to miss it. However, mummy did not have the heart to break the news to Xuan cos Xuan was very excited about it. Ms Isabel has allowed Xuan to participate in all the rehearsals sessions to enjoy and have fun. Xuan came home in the week before the concert, singing and dancing, practising the steps and sequences. So well done!! Xuan even keep telling mummy and papa that the whole family must go to see her concert, how we will be seated in the hall, how Xuan will come out from the stage when the curtain is drawn, and that we will clap for her! A pity. Really a pity. Mummy is sad and guilty about it.

We still remember how well Xuan performed last year. A great dance. :) Mummy recalled that she was so excited when it was Xuan's turn. The pride. The excitment. The happiness when we see Xuan on stage. How a 3 year old could remember all the steps, the sequence, and even remember to smile as she dance! More excited than mummy's own graduation ceremony! It sounds exaggerating but it is not at all. Only a mummy will understand.

Next year, we will make sure that we will not miss the chance! Next year, didi will be on stage too when he join my school.
