First Trip to Arts Musuem

Last Sunday was International Museum Day. We visited the Singapore Arts Museum as it has Children Arts Festival activities. It was a scorching hot afternoon. Even though most parts of the museum is air conditioned, mummy and papa still perspired from running and chasing after didi! Hahaha..

It was overall a good experience. We went from one studio to another, each featuring different settings such as the daisies forest, the funky garden forest (all making use of laser lighting to create special effects). Xuan was a bit comprehensive for a while but was very soon happily jumping and running around chasing the laser lighting on the walls and floor. Didi on the other hand, took some time to observe who then plucked up his courage slowly to venture around. However, we didn’t manage to take good pictures cos the lighting was a bit dim and we were running so fast all around. Haha.. Xuan had wanted to queue for hand painting and face painting but was too late for the activity. However, Xuan managed to catch a short Korean drum performance before we left.

A challenge to take picture in the dim lighting and a constant jumping up and down and dancing Xuan.

Posing readily when being asked to!

A picture before we left. :)

On the way home, Xuan fell asleep in the car as she was really tire out. Papa could tell that in fact, Xuan was already trying hard holding back her sleepiness earlier on during dinner time.

Later in the night, Xuan lamented, “I am so tired. I walked so much. I walked the whole day.” :p
