Xuan is having fun in school with lots of sports activities and games. In conjunction with Youth Olympic, Xuan’s school is having sport theme for the month of June. A very fun-filled active and healthy month of June!
In the 1st week, Xuan has a week of intensive yoga and last week, Xuan has fun encounter with soccer. However, Xuan came home on Wednesday with some bruises and scatches on both knees caps and elbows. Xuan fell when chasing after the ball. It was a heartache to see the scratches but mummy understands that it is inevitable and part of growing up and of course in playing sport. Xuan will grow up tougher and learn how to be more careful in future!
In the coming weeks, Xuan’s teacher informed that the children will be introduced to more ball activities such as basketball, bowling and table tennis. So Xuan has been back reaching home sweaty and sticky! Especially in this wonderful hot weather of ours!
Just before school term ended in May, Xuan has fun in Zoo with my friends! We went on boat ride, walked a lot a lot around the zoo, saw many animals, had close encounter with horses, rabbits and goats, ate our kiddy meal at KFC and of course took lots of pictures. The weather was hot. Fortunately, mummy and Xuan went prepared with our hats! Although there were snacks prepared by teachers for us along the way, Mummy prepared my favourite sausages for me. :) I saw my friends watching me from far… opps.. I’m sorriee…. :p.
On the episode on encounter with animals, Xuan only wanted to stroke the puffy white rabbit but rejected the offer to feed the goat with carrot and take close pictures with the pony cos Xuan was a bit fearful. Hehehe..
It was a overall fun excursion and of course a hot and sweaty one too! :D
