Happy prosperous Rabbit Year to all!
祝大家 新年快乐,兔飞猛进,身体健康,开开心心,万事如意,龙马精神!
This year, we have 2 reunion dinners in a day. One with maternal grandparents and family in the afternoon, followed by 2nd round at paternal grandparents house in the evening. And so, we travelled from the central of Singapore to the East and from the East to the West before coming back to the Central later at night. Fortunately, we have our chauffeur papa!
After we were back from reunion dinners, mummy and papa were busy tidying up the house, preparing the oranges and cakes for 拜拜… many things to be done! While papa made his way to the carpark to give our car a final wash and polish for the new year, mummy showered for me and didi and changed us into our new pyjamas! Xuan and didi were so happy! More cleaning and tidying continued into the night. While mummy finished tidying one section, didi dragged another box of toys and pour all out in the living room! Urgh didi!
Mummy was glad when it was finally 1030 - the time for the Chinese new year countdown show. While Xuan and didi were engrossed in the songs and dance, mummy took the opportunity to things done.. hahaha. Xuan was more keen in the show and will sing and dance. Didi, being younger and a boy, lost interest in a while. Instead, he took the red container for his toy cars storage and put it on his head! Sure, like a lion dance right! Hahaha..
All of us eventually had a late night sleep at 12+am. Haha.. 守岁!
Although we need not go to many places for visitation, mummy said that we still seem to be in a rush. We didn’t manage to take as many family pictures as we wish to. Short of time and also because both Xuan and didi refused to cooperate. They are pretty cooperative on many occasions and other days but chose not to be on CNY… hummm….
Nevertheless, both Xuan and didi had a good time snacking all the goodies. Didi even developed a fever on the 2nd day of CNY! Must be too much 肉干, biscuits。。 and too little intake of water. Fortunately, he was ok by night time. Nevertheless, we stayed at home on the 2nd and 3rd day of CNY before resuming visitation.
May the year of Rabbit brings us more happiness, laughters, best of health and prosperity!
More pictures to share in next post.. :D
